About Me
Hi, Welcome. My name is Aparna Manoj. I am a mother of 2 toddler boys, living in Dallas with my
husband. Being a mother of two boys, I have learnt some parenting things that I wanted to share with others, some that I learnt from my own experience while others told by my family and friends. I thought that the best way to convey such experiences to others could be a blog, so that the information could be shared with a large number of people, and not limited to my circle of family members and friends.
I have always been passionate about cooking. I used to help my mom in some light cooking, even when I was little. That passion grew into a hobby after I got married, and I also have an encouraging husband. Though I am a South Indian, since my upbringing was from Bombay, my cooking is influenced to North Indian cooking as well. I used to prepare dishes, click photos, share on social media, and was happy to receive positive feedback. Writing a food blog has been in my mind for quite some time. With the encouragement of my husband, family, and friends, I have finally started one.
My source for recipe is my mother and various food blogs that I follow. If I borrow a recipe from
someone’s blog, I will make sure to mention his or her name in my blog.
This blog happens to an attempt to share my knowledge and information in food and parenting. I am open to accept constructive criticism and feedback that will help me grow.
